Now the interesting story of Michael Jackson:
The first fact that is very important to know is that Michael Jackson never took a dancing lesson in his life. In the Making Of Thriller video, co-choreographer Michael Peters describes in a different way that is Jackson having dancing in his soul. Sir Bob Geldof gives a statement that “…and when his feet move, you can see God Dancing.” I suppose these comments speak for Michael Jackson but the consensus was and is that he was pretty damn spectacular. He defined dancing in a different manner for a generation of up and coming talent.
If you want to know these are disco, soul, rock, hip hop, ballet, jazz or contemporary style. You can’t because it was all of them and then some. Michael Jackson believed in some facts and hard work that “if you studied the greats you could become even better”. So that is what he did. From James Brown to Gene Kelly, from Jackie Wilson to Bob Fosse from Marcel Marceau to Sammy Davis Jr., the list keep on continuing with the beat of so many diverse drummers.
He took what he needed much and left the rest. This is a very difficult question to answer because I don’t want to say too much but definitely don’t want to say too little. I believe a dancing talent like his comes along once in the existence of the world and left his memorable dance with the rest of the world as we know it. He just wanted to be a “normal” human being in his life whatever that is. But fate/luck had a difference of opinion and decided he would be a “song and dance” man instead. The best one ever created in the world.
Michael Jackson danced with his soul. If God would have a body she/he would dance like Mr. Jackson. I’ve come full circle with my answer but I cannot spin it as he would have. Do you know there’s a space on the dance floor in his studio at Neverland that’s cordoned off to protect it? It’s a warn hole made from doing so many spins. Do me a favour, ok? When you watch the short film Smooth Criminal and tell me whether or not you feel like you’re watching a Broadway Musical. If you have not seen a Broadway musical, now you have to see. But the trick is that you must watch the other cast members as well as Michael. It took me a year to be able to do that and worth every impediment.
Michael Jackson was not a ballet man, he was never strong enough for that, but his timing was out of this world. He was never a trained dancer either, it was a natural talent (but also obsessive, his other dancers have said he would practice 4 hours in the mirror with (no break or water to get one finger). He put blood sweat and tears, into his dance (while younger) as he got older this lessened a lot.
Always remember though Michael Jackson on stage or in videos was almost over-rehearsed throughout in his life, hardly anything was ever freestyle, he did the same moves at the same time every show. He rarely if ever just let himself go. A lot of people do think he just was a moonwalk one-trick pony, but if you watch his stage shows, he spent maybe 15 seconds in a whole 2-hour show moonwalking. He did rehash a lot of moves, and some found that boring, he never mixed up his stage shows, so I cannot totally disagree.
Michael Jackson was very much an innovator when he combined street dance, with Hollywood’s golden era of musicals..That just was not the thing in the 80s anymore, but when MJ reintroduced it all, it looked very fresh and all his own, but he borrowed tons from the greats.
As we know that Michael Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009) was an American singer, songwriter, and dancer. Known as the “King of Pop”. He was one of the most popular entertainers in the world. Micheal also was the best-selling music artist during the year of his death.
Michael is also the third-best bookseller in the world. As he had made many most popular albums in his life in which “Thriller” was the most popular.Michael Jackson the best dancer in the world because of their multi-talent and excitement.
He was also a motivational singer as well as a dancer. When he used to dance people began to start weeping while in the show. Many ambulance vehicles stand during the show. Because suddenly people started to faint
. In spite of it, people recommend it to listen to that song again and again.
